In June of 1919, a promise of peace was established after six months of negotiations. Germany finally agreed to disarm, and World War I came to an end. As part of the term of the Treaty of Versailles, the Germanic aggressor was required to make reparations to repay the countries adversely impacted by the atrocities their iron hand had committed.
